I've been cutting video professionally for over 14 years, and I still get genuinely excited when an edit comes together the way it should. My work spans a lot of territory, from branded content for major consumer brands, pharmaceutical clinical trial campaigns and medical explainer videos, to award-winning independent narrative and nonfiction films.
Before I found my calling as an editor, I was a drummer for years and I think that's why pacing and rhythm matter so much to me in the edit suite. A good drummer knows how to keep time, but a great drummer can take the music to another level – both are about knowing when to be heard and when to get out of the way.
I'm equally comfortable as a hands-on craftsperson or managing a post-production team to deliver on time and within budget.
I'm based in Portland, Oregon and available for remote and on-site work.
